Having experienced grade school with undiagnosed dyslexia, Norah herself knows the feelings of confusion and isolation that result from struggling in school without any apparent explanation why. Her own frustration with these experiences led her to create an initiative that turns isolation into community and confusion into comprehension.
Witnessing how much dyslexic students are harmed by falling behind their peers, Norah developed this site for two reasons: to promote more awareness of dyslexia among more individuals and to provide a general support group. The project provides accessible tools to students, parents, and educators to use, enabling the dyslexic not only to survive, but to thrive.
This is a declaration of Norah's belief that no child has to struggle alone as she struggled, that knowledge, understanding, and acceptance can turn the dyslexic experience from one of frustration to one of strength.
